Event Details

Remember the last time you were walking your dog and looked up into the night sky and said: "Gee I wonder what that star is?" Well, this is your chance to find out. Granted, local conditions always put a limit on what an observer can see. Faint stars can’t be seen in the glow of city lights. However, there is usually no problem seeing the bigger planets and, of course, our moon. It goes without saying that the “seeing” is better in less populated areas. Still, there’s plenty to see in the Florida sky on a clear night. Join Duane E. Shaffer for a revealing look at our local skies.
