Event Details

An olfactory experience that delves into the historical uses of botanically derived resins within the various cultures and religions of the world. See and smell some of the plant resins of the Old World, such as frankincense, myrrh, styrax, labdanum, galbanum, and mastic. Some of the aspects that will be discussed include their appearance in myths, uses in religious rituals, and utilitarian applications.
