Event Details
Derek Baker, will be presenting on the brain. The brain is a complex remarkable organ that orchestrates a symphony of powerful processes. This class aims learn about the various parts of the brain that is made of billions of neurons that send electrical and chemical signals throughout the body. Its main regions and functions are the cerebrum, cerebral cortex, the brain stem, and cerebellum.
With the rise of Alzheimer’s, and Dementia all ages could benefit from better brain and body health. We will discuss various ways to have a healthier brain and a happier life. SPL has a plethora of great books that can change our cerebrum and prolong our mental capacity for learning. All are welcome!
